The board is assisted by several committees

The Executive Committee

To facilitate the day-to-day management of the OMHM's activities, the Board of Directors delegates certain powers to the Executive Director. The latter relies on the advice and support of its management team in managing operations and overseeing the organization's major challenges.

Tenants’ consultative and participative forums

In addition to the tenants’ advisory committees (CCR), the OMHM accompanies other tenants’ consultative and participative forums. These are:

  • tenants’ associations (the OMHM has more than 100 of these representing more than 10,000 tenants in low-rent housing);
  • three sectoral committees (which discuss the various challenges in different geographical sectors);
  • the maintenance and janitorial services auditing committee;
  • the committee on change of housing for bio-psycho-social reasons;
  • the MOUV (for young people aged between 12 and 25).

To find out what these forums do, how they are made up and how they contribute to community life and OMHM governance, please refer to the page Active involvement of tenants.
