Saving water

Water is vital to life. Without it, nothing could survive. But water is a non-renewable resource.

The overuse of water has a negative impact on its quantity and quality. Countries such as ours that have unlimited, free access to water, are in large part to blame. Although Québec has 3% of the world's freshwater reserves, we often face water-related problems.

"A leaky faucet can waste 30 litres of water every day. This is the amount one family drinks in five days."
