The Neighbourhood

The more people know their neighbourhood, the better their quality of life and sense of security.

Strolling around, participating in beautification projects, joining clean-up crws, participating in local functions and engaging in different activities are a few ways of becoming part of your local environment. Getting to know your neighbours, learning how to resolve conflicts and involvement in public activities will build a safer community and increase your sense of security.

Building Rules

The Building Rules help promote harmonious coexistence of tenants within OMHM buildings. Respect, openness and communication are key ingredients in harmonious coexistence. Situations could however give rise to conflicts among neighbours, particularly if certain base building regulations are not observed.

Respect: Pour a Peaceful Community

The OMHM strongly supports respect. Respect means being willing to accept differences, to treat others with proper consideration, to recognize the unique value of every individual and to protect personal dignity. All people, whether employees, tenants or service providers, are entitled to be respected and must act respectfully toward others. The OMHM is committed to providing living environments free of any form of harassment or discrimination.
