The neighbourhood

The more people know their neighbourhood, the better their quality of life and sense of security.

Neighbourhood walks, beautification projects, clean-up crews, local celebrations and other events all make living in harmony easier. Getting to know neighbours, learning how to resolve conflicts, and becoming involved in public activities help build a safer community and increase people's sense of security.

Building rules

The Building rules help OMHM tenants live together in harmony. Respect, openness, and communication are key ingredients for living together in harmony. Certain situations can nevertheless give rise to conflicts between neighbours, particularly if certain basic building rules are not observed.

Mutual respect means a peaceful community

Respect is a value that the OMHM holds dear, and means being willing to accept differences, to treat others with proper consideration, to recognize the unique value of every individual, and to preserve personal dignity. All people, whether employees, tenants or service providers, are entitled to be respected and must act respectfully toward others. The OMHM is committed to providing living environments free of any form of harassment or discrimination.
