Community partners

Over the years, the OMHM has launched community and social initiatives in its social housing facilities, in conjunction with its approximately 125 tenant associations, as well as local organizations and and institutions.

These initiatives promote the social integration of tenants while empowering tenants to take responsibility for their living environment. These efforts take the form of projects and activities, and receive the support and consent of residents in the building in question.

Activities are open to the community at large and are not limited to public housing tenants. They are in all cases designed and managed in partnership with community organizations and institutions. The OMHM has published a directory of Montréal public housing community projects. You can obtain a copy by calling (514) 872-2104 or emailing info@omhm.qc.ca.
